Even though she will only be in this house for less than one month, I just had to get her name up on the wall. I finally feel like Claire has a place in this home!
Made these earlier in the week when we heard a good friend was coming through Travis on a trip. We are so excited for them to be welcoming a baby girl into their family with her two older brothers! I didn't want to use this picture the day I made them, so I didn't ruin the surprise!
This was my first attempt at adding flannel to a burp cloth, not super great. But I hope Miss Shelby wont mind some crooked sitching!
Got the girls' Easter baskets that I'm going to attempt to line with the fabric and embroider their names on (even if Claire doesn't arrive in time for Easter). The purple outfit is going to be Claire's coming home from the hospital outfit. With a bunch of other 3 month clothes for her (summer stuff), a pair of tiny robeez for Claire and a new pair of shoes for Juliet! I also spent an hour at Joann's fabric getting a nice giant bag full of stuff all on sale with an extra 20% off for Military members!
Our Valentine's Day presents to each other arrived today! Matching tungsten wedding bands (because I'm the cool person that is allergic to my platinum wedding set)!
New addition to our kitchen. Over the past week the base water system has been having issues controlling the level of chlorine in the drinking water. Figured it was time to get one of the pitchers instead of wasting bottles!
We had the pleasure of visiting my Cousin and her farm today where Juliet got to pet a two week old lamb, chase chickens, and ride a horse! She loved 'Jewely' and wasn't scared at all of the neigh-neigh!
Finally made our way back to Northern California after our week long trip down the coast. The fog rolling in over the mountains was a welcoming start to the cooler weather.
